South Korea's industrial output was slightly down last month,... due mainly to a fall in the output of the service sector.<br />According to data by Statistics Korea on Thursday,... the overall industrial output fell zero-point-4 percent on-month in September.<br />The mining and manufacturing sector picked up slightly,... but production in wholesale and retail decreased.<br />Private consumption was also down 2 percent on-month,... because of a drop in sales of food and clothing.<br />The statistics agency said the drop is due to temporary factors like the impact of several typhoons last month.<br />
